A week from today I go to trial with my former employer to decide my fate regarding my injury. I'm scared...I've never even had a speeding ticket, let alone been part of the legal system. Life can be complicated and a little confusing sometimes. Just when you think you have it all figured out and your sailing through life...WHAM, something unexpected happens and turns your world upside down. Sometimes our journey to the best places takes us through some difficult times and we have to wade through the muck to get to the other side of it.
There's one thing that I'm sure of....I'm sure that I'm not meant to stay in this painful place. Regardless of the outcome, I know there is a beautiful lesson in all of this and I will come out of this stronger, wiser and with a clearer vision of my path. I will keep the faith, I will keep going...I can do this!

I told you about my own legal battle, and after it was over, I felt a tremendous sense of freedom and a huge load lifted off my shoulders...
